1 Overview
Closed foam-water sprinkler is a kind of
fixed fire extinguishing equipment with high fire extinguishing efficiency and
wide application range. Suitable for use in buildings and structures where
flammable liquids can be installed in a water spray protection system.The product implementation standard is GB
20031-2005 “General technical conditions for foam fire extinguishing
systems and components”.2 Application range
Applicable to dangerous goods warehouses,
garages, hangars, parking lots, chemical plants, boiler houses, petrochemical
enterprises, metallurgical enterprises and other places. In addition, fires of
Class A fires of common substances, as well as fires of rubber, plastics,
synthetic fibers, etc., also have a good extinguishing effect.3 composition
It is mainly composed of foam liquid
storage tank, foam proportional mixer, pressure relief valve, foam liquid
control valve, wet alarm valve, water flow indicator, closed sprinkler, pipe
and fittings.4 Working principle
The ambient temperature of the system
protection area rises due to fire, reaching the operating temperature of the
closed nozzle (9), causing the nozzle to open the water spray, the water flow
indicator (12) acts, the wet alarm valve (20) is opened, and the pressure water
passes through the alarm shut-off valve ( 24), through the retarder (42), enter
the alarm pressure relief pipeline (21), the hydraulic alarm bell (23) starts
the alarm, the pressure switch (41) acts, activates the fire pump, and
pressurizes the water supply to the system pipe network. At the same time, the
pressurized water passes through the water supply valve (35) of the pressure
relief valve, opens the pressure relief valve (36), depressurizes the pressure
water in the control line (37), and the foam liquid control valve (14)
automatically opens. The capsule foam tank (4) is squeezed by the pressurized
water from the foam tank water supply line (34), allowing the foam liquid in
the bladder to pass through the foam control valve (14) and from the main line
(22) into the foam proportional mixer ( 19) The water is mixed to form a foam
mixture which is sprayed through the open sprinkler (9) to extinguish the fire.
